CCCS' Vision:CCCS students will acquire God's wisdom,
academic knowledge, Christ-like character and a Biblical worldview so
they are equipped to become faithful, discerning, creative servants of
God, positively impacting their culture.
CCCS Goals and Outcomes for our students;
(SF=Spiritual Formation)
Students will have a solid
understanding of the Christian faith and values as found in the Bible and
reflected in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. “Train a child in the way
he should go” Proverbs 22:6. Children will view Scripture not only as great
literature but also as a dynamic presentation of God and His desire to be in
relationship with us.
(AT=Academic Thinking)
Students will have a commitment
to life-long learning and an ability to think critically, solve problems
effectively, and draw conclusions from research, personal analysis, and
investigation.
(SD=Skill Development, CO= Community Outreach & SF)
Students
will have a Christ-like confidence that comes from being immersed in a joyful
and supportive environment. They will develop interpersonal skills to work
cooperatively and effectively with others, bearing fruit and becoming salt and
light in the community. Galatians 5:22
(Skill Development & AT)
Students
will be well prepared in all academic disciplines and skilled in reading,
writing, speaking, listening, mathematics, and the sciences. Students will acquire
an intrinsic work ethic, enabling them to evaluate information and make wise
choices.
(WV= World View)
Students
will understand how people, events, and movements in history, literature, and
the arts shape an individual’s beliefs and values. They will have the ability
to articulate and defend their Christian worldview while having a basic
understanding of opposing worldviews. They will understand that a Biblical Worldview
is a vision of life and a vision for life and the basis for all of life’s choices,
decisions, values, beliefs, and behavior.
