Elementary Grades;

CCCS Elementary program serves grades 1 through 5 in a traditional classroom setting. CCCS provides a strong emphasis for student mastery in reading, writing, math, phonics, language, social studies, science, spelling and studying God’s word. In addition, art, physical education, keyboarding, Spanish, chapel and field trips provide a well-rounded learning experience.

Our small classroom sizes allow students to receive plenty of one on one attention to help them succeed and be challenged regardless of their academic level. Classrooms may be blended annually. Staffing assignments as well as blended grades are determined prior to each new school year.

CCCS curriculum includes Christian as well as secular publishers with a Christian Worldview woven throughout.

CCCS Goals and Outcomes for our students;

(SF=Spiritual Formation)
Children will have a solid understanding of the Christian faith and values as found in the Bible and reflected in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. “Train a child in the way he should go” Proverbs 22:6. Children will view Scripture not only as great literature but also as a dynamic presentation of God and His desire to be in relationship with us.

(AT=Academic Thinking)
Children will have a commitment to life-long learning, and an ability to think critically, solve problems effectively, and draw conclusions from research, personal analysis, and investigation. They should appreciate people events and movements in history, literature and the arts, understanding how these express and shape an individual’s beliefs and values.

(SD=Skill Development, CO= Community Outreach & SF)
Children will have a Christ like confidence that comes from being immersed in a joyful and supportive environment. They will develop interpersonal skills to work cooperatively and effectively with others, bearing fruit, becoming salt and light in the community. Gal 5:22

(Skill Development & AT)
Children will be well prepared in all academic disciplines, and are skilled in reading, writing, speaking, listening, mathematics, and the sciences. Children acquire an intrinsic work ethic, able to evaluate information making wise choices.

(WV= World View)
Children will have the ability to articulate and defend their Christian worldview while having a basic understanding of opposing worldviews. They will understand that a Biblical Worldview is a vision of life and a vision for life and the basis for all of life’s choices, decisions, values, beliefs, and behavior.
